7. Apple pies

An apple pie is a cake in which the principal filling ingredient is apples. There are two elements to making an apple pie: the pastry and the apples.   Pastry is generally used top-and-bottom, and it may be a circular shaped crust or a pastry lattice woven of strips. As concerns the apple filling, you can make the pie with any apple that will not lose its shape when baked such as Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Rome and Braeburn.
